Viktor Schauberger is considered to be a pioneer of modern water research and the holistic observation of Nature. As early as the first half of the 20th century he gave urgent warnings of the consequences of uncontrolled exploitation of the environment. As a way out he proposed a radical rethink and the development of totally new concepts of energy production, in harmony with Nature.

The potential energy from high mountain streams is converted into vortex energy and stored within the water as it flows downhill towards the oceans. This energised water helps produce healthy trees along the riverbank and vigorous agriculture in the flood plains. Healthy humans are the result.
Modern irrigation systems disturb the water flow and prevent the sequestering of vortex energy thereby resulting in poor quality wood, crop failures and, according to Schauberger, an increase of cancer and ‘apathy’ in the human population.
