Since no virus has been properly isolated or identified and no disease is really caused by a virus then clearly it makes little sense to believe that scientists have implemented some sort of ‘gain of function’ in a virus.
What we expect to find here is a host of badly performed experiments whose conclusions are not supported by the results that the scientists themselves actually publish.
Dr Sam Bailey takes us through the narrative in a bit more detail and casts a critical eye over the famous ferret experiments that caused many commentators to predict massive death tolls from ‘antibody dependent enhancement’, ‘pathogenic priming’, and cytokine storms.
